Shymbulak
The Shymbulak ski resort is located in the picturesque gorge of Zailiysky Ala Tau at the height of 2260 m above sea level in 25 kilometers from the downtown of Almaty. The Shymbulak is the world's highest skating rink. The Shymbulak – is a place that has something for everyone with a variety of routes, including the soft and gentle slopes for beginners and intermediates skiers and snowboarders as well longer trails for the experts.

Kok-Tobe
Kok-tobe Mountain is one of the most beautiful and amazing places of Kazakhstan. It’s the highest point of the city which is situated at a height of 1100 meters above the sea level. Kok-Tobe has a «Wish» fountain, in the shape of an apple, children’s playground, a climbing wall, «the Fast Coaster» attraction, a mini zoo, an art gallery and souvenir shop, teahouse, «Yurt» restaurant, Lovers’ alley, Rope Park. You can climb to Kok-Tobe on foot, ropeway or on a special minibus.

Mountain sports complex Medeo
The Medeo is an outdoor speed skating and bandy rink. It is located in a mountain valley on the south-eastern outskirts of Almaty, Kazakhstan. Medeu sits 1.700 metres above sea level, making it the highest skating rink in the world. It is intended for speed skating, hockey, figure skating and other winter sports. High-quality artificial ice, a modern multimedia board, soft climate, average solar activity — are distinctive features of Medeu.

Almarasan Gorge
One of the most picturesque gorges – Almaarasanskoye is located near the city of Almaty. It is located 20 km of Almaty at the height of 1750 m above the sea level. At the end of the Almarasan Gorge, there is a Big Almaty Lake.

Big Almaty Lake Big Almaty Lake is located 30 km south of Almaty up a gorge of the Bolshaya Almatinka River, 2.500 m above sea level. The lake itself is about 1 km wide and 1.6 km long, with a depth of about 40 meters.
