General Rental Term and Insurance

AVIS Company, thanks to the wide network widespread on the whole territory of the country, and also thanks to the auto fleet equipped subject to reliability principle, with a pleasure will provide to the clients a full service for trucking facilities lease. One and all requests for a car booking are get guaranteed to our offices and reservation centers. All additional service products, which will provide a bigger comfort for you during, the rent term of the car (Navigation service, System of high-speed journey (HGS), a children's chair and so forth) are offered for your choice at our offices at registration of a car vehicle rent at an additional expense. In order to use our service on a daily car rental you can address to Reservation Center +7 727 262 24 53, or to the Reservation Service on the website www.avis.com.kz, besides you can directly address to any of our offices of a car rental where you will get a detailed information and an opportunity to reserve the car. Registration of booking until a rent registration will provide for you a guarantee of the car rent, which is chosen by you.

DRIVING LICENSE AND AGE RESTRICTIONS:

The A,B,N, F, I group of vehicles can be rented by those who are at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license for at least 1 (one) year. The G,H,O,M and D group of vehicles can be rented by those who are at least 25 years old and have a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years; similarly, the J,E,C,P,L and K group of vehicles can be rented by those who are at least 27 years old and have a valid driver’s license for at least 3 year. In case of obligatory observance of 21-age condition, the cars lease of the highest or lowest category is allowed, at the same time the fee of the young driver is paid. You can obtain extra information concerning Young Driver Fee in our Reservation Center (by ph.: +7 727 262 24 53).

RENTAL PERIOD:

The minimum car rental period is 24 hours for daily rental and 30 days for monthly rental.

POINTS INCLUDED AND NOT INCLUDED IN PRICES:

Daily mileage included into the rent price is 150 kilometers. The Lessee pays to the Lessor 20 cents per 1 additional kilometer in case of daily mileage exceeding. Fuel, Personal Accident Insurance, Liability Insurance, Super Collision Damage Waiver, One-Way Fee, Delivery/Collection Fees (from 0-26 km), Baby Seat, Navigation, and Bridge and Highway Crossing fees / Card Usage Fees will be calculated separately. Delivery of the car to the customer is done with a full tank of gasoline. The fuel price difference will be collected along with the service fee if the vehicle is returned with missing fuel or empty tank. In monthly rental services, on the other hand, the mileage is limited to about 3 000-4 000 km. Mileage excess fees vary based on the group of the vehicle. ONE-WAY FEES:

If the client rent a car in one city and returns it in other city, Avis Company incurs One-way fee, specially provided for such cases. Rates of this payment type differ at different offices of the company, the detailed information is provided in our Car Rent Centers.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER SERVICE:

In order to ensure that the vehicle can be driven by an individual and/or individuals other than the person who rents the vehicle, it is possible to add this to the rental contract with an additional fee, providing the Driver’s License information of the additional driver. In case of an accident by a driver and/or drivers not included in the rental contract, all the insurances will be deemed invalid and both the person who rented the vehicle and the person/persons who drove the vehicle will be separately and jointly held responsible. VEHICLE DELIVERY AND RECEIPT SERVICES:

In the cities and counties where the AVIS offices are located, on the condition that it is within the county municipal boundaries, the delivery and receipt of the vehicle to/from customers, depending on the office availability, will be free of charge (up to 0-26 km). However, in the cities and counties where the AVIS offices are not located, an additional fee is applied for the delivery/receipt services. You can call our Reservation Center or Sales Offices for more information. The reserved car is transferred to the client by a car delivery to a point of its location; the car rent cost is collected at the moment of transfer. Moreover, the client shall pay a deposit at a rate of 50 000 tenge during the transfer. Subject to lack of any damages of the car or traffic fines, which are issued on the car, upon return of the car to the Company's office, the specified sum of a deposit contribution shall be returned to the client.

VEHICLE RETURN TIME:

In delays up to 3 hours in returning vehicles, a 1/3 of the rental price stated in the Contract per hour; and in delays exceeding 3 hours, 1-day rental price will be charged.

PROCEDURE AND TERMS OF PAYMENT:

Total rental amount and security deposits will be collected at the beginning of the rental through the credit/debit card of the person renting the vehicle. Any difference in the invoice amount that may occur at the end of the lease, on the other hand, will be collected or returned, using the same credit/debit card. The credit/debit cardholder must be present in person during the rental. The vehicle rental cannot be processed with a credit/debit card belonging to someone else. In addition to the rental fee, a certain amount of deposit in the amount of 50 000 KZT, depending of the brand and model of the vehicle, will be collected from the credit/debit card submitted by the customer. Therefore, credit/limit availability of the credit/debit card (as much as total of rental and deposit fee) is required. The Lessee charges the deposit amount of 50.000, 100.000 or 150.000 tenge from the credit card, VAT included in favor of the Lessor, for the period 60 calendar days from the moment of the acceptance of the Car by the Lessor from the Lessee during which the Lessor will reveal the loss caused by the Lessee to it, damage, penalties imposed on the Lessee during the validity period of this Agreement; in case of identified damages the Lessor keeps the sum of a loss, damage and a penalty from the charges amount. If there is no claim from the Lessor to the Lessee during the above term, the withhold amount will be returned to the Lessee in full.

TRAFFIC FINES:

All kinds of liabilities and traffic fines arising from failure to comply with the applicable traffic laws belong to the user. Traffic fines and penalties for illegally crossing bridges and highways that occur during the rental period and are delivered to us after the expiration of the rental will be collected from the person and/or company stated in the rental agreement. The term during which the leased vehicle for any reasons is delayed and/or arrested by the state bodies or local executive authority is recognized as the term included in the total rent term of the Car Rental Contract.

AIRPORT SERVICE FEE:

Transfer and return of the vehicle to the airport are conducted free of charge.

OTHER SERVICES:

IMPORTANT NOTES:

In case of any accident, it is obligatory to keep an accident report, without changing the vehicle’s location, in an appropriate way or to obtain accident, theft and alcohol reports by contacting the nearest police station and to inform the Full Support Line, serving 7/24 with number +7 778 777 70 71. In case the vehicle is stolen, it is obligatory to contact the nearest police station and to inform the Full Support Line, serving 7/24 with number +7 778 777 70 71. Otherwise, all assurances purchased will be invalidated and all kinds of damages that occurred, including pecuniary and non-pecuniary damages given to the 3rd parties, will be charged to the renter. In case of a failure of the vehicle or support is needed for any reason, it is necessary to ask for help from the support center serving 7/24 with number +7 778 777 70 71.
- Please make sure that the vehicle pick up and return form is filled in and mutually signed during the beginning of the rental and the return of the vehicle.
- To extend, report/change the return day and time of the rental, please call the sales office where you initially rent the vehicle or our Reservation center.
- In case of an accident, failure of the vehicle or any support you may need for any reason during the rental period, you should call Full Support Line with number +7 778 777 70 71.
- In case, periodic maintenance kilometer of the vehicle is due during your use, please call Full Support Line to continue your journey safely.
- If the vehicle encounters an accident UNILATERALLY or is stolen, it is obligatory, without changing the vehicle’s location, to obtain accident, theft and alcohol reports by contacting the nearest police station. In case of BILATERAL accidents, on the other hand, the drivers are obliged to fill the Property Damage Accident Report as stated on the report, with the exception of the cases stated below, according to the type of occurrence of the accident. In bilateral accidents, a traffic accident report is arranged by the traffic police only in case of the following situations.
- If the driver drives an undocumented motor vehicle,
- If the driver is a minor,
- If the driver is suspected of alcohol use or mental illness,
- If one of the vehicles involved in the accident belongs to the public institutions,
- If damage is done to the goods belonging to the public institutions,
- If damage is done only to the properties of the 3rd parties,
- If one of the vehicles involved in the accident does not have traffic insurance,
- If the traffic accident results in death and/or body injury.

INSURANCE AND ASSURANCES:

Explanations regarding our assurances are given below. Explanations are general and for information purposes only. AVIS reserves the right to change this information in the course of time. The guarantees included in your reservation are stated in the price quote and/or the reservation confirmation document. You can purchase those guarantees that are not included in the quote from our sales office in the beginning of the rental period. You can also obtain detailed information regarding valid limits from our sales offices.

The Supplemental Liability Assurance (LI- SLI) is an insurance that covers the damages to the third parties. The Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) is an insurance arranged according to the client’s request, providing a repair of small insignificant damages subject to sums estimated below the amount determined by AVIS Company. Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) is insurance where the driver and the people in the vehicle are covered within the insurance limits. It is calculated based on the number of the seats in the vehicle.
